Previously, two comparison operations would be generated for each field, each of which could delegate to another derived PartialOrd. Now we use ordering and optional chaining to ensure each pair of fields is only compared once.
Previously, generate-deriving-span-tests.py would regenerate all the tests anew, even if they hadn't changed. This creates unnecessary diffs that only change the copyright year. Now we check to see if any of the content of the test has changed before generating the new one.
Use the crates.io crate `rand` (version 0.1 should be a drop in
replacement for `std::rand`) and `rand_macros` (`#[derive_Rand]` should
be a drop-in replacement).

This is part of the ongoing renaming of the equality traits. See #12517 for more
details. All code using Eq/Ord will temporarily need to move to Partial{Eq,Ord}
or the Total{Eq,Ord} traits. The Total traits will soon be renamed to {Eq,Ord}.

This commit shreds all remnants of libextra from the compiler and standard
distribution. Two modules, c_vec/tempfile, were moved into libstd after some
cleanup, and the other modules were moved to separate crates as seen fit.

This patch merges IterBytes and Hash traits, which clears up the
confusion of using `#[deriving(IterBytes)]` to support hashing.
Instead, it now is much easier to use the new `#[deriving(Hash)]`
for making a type hashable with a stream hash.
Furthermore, it supports custom non-stream-based hashers, such as
if a value's hash was cached in a database.
This does not yet replace the old IterBytes-hash with this new
version.
This unfortunately changes an error like
error: mismatched types: expected `&&NotClone` but found `&NotClone`
into
error: type `NotClone` does not implement any method in scope named `clone`
