1b1e4caa79 std::vec: add a sugary .sort() method for plain Ord sorting. 
This moves the custom sorting to `.sort_by`.

da7f41104d Fix bug in match checking 
When `specialize`ing struct-like enum patterns, compare struct fields to
pattern fields, not pattern fields to pattern fields.

Closes #8351.

a076fef2b6 Add new lint: non_uppercase_pattern_statics, for #7526. 
This tries to warn about code like:
    ```rust
    match (0,0) {
        (0, aha) => { ... },
        ...
    }
    ```
where `aha` is actually a static constant, not a binding.

3709aa78d8 std::vec: Remove functions concat, connect 
std::vec::{concat, connect, concat_slices, connect_slices} are replaced
by the already existing trait methods .concat_vec() and .connect_vec().

d9874c0885 Rename the NaN and is_NaN methods to lowercase. 
This is for consistency in naming conventions.

- ``std::num::Float::NaN()`` is changed to ``nan()``;
- ``std::num::Float.is_NaN()`` is changed to ``is_nan()``; and
- ``std::num::strconv::NumStrConv::NaN()`` is changed to ``nan()``.

Fixes #9319.

6919cf5fe1 rename std::iterator to std::iter 
The trait will keep the `Iterator` naming, but a more concise module
name makes using the free functions less verbose. The module will define
iterables in addition to iterators, as it deals with iteration in
general.

58021be454 rustc: allow @ as-patterns to move when the sub-pattern contains no bindings. 
A pattern like `foo @ Foo(Bar(*), _)` should be legal, even if `foo` moves,
since the subpatterns are purely structural.

Fixes #3761.

828bfb2c61 Fix incorrect non-exhaustive matching for fixed length vecs 
Code like this is fixed now:

```
fn foo(p: [u8, ..4]) {
    match p {
        [a, b, c, d] => {}
    };
}
```

Invalid constructors are not reported as errors yet:

```
fn foo(p: [u8, ..4]) {
    match p {
        [_, _, _] => {} // this should be error
        [_, _, _, _, _, .._] => {} // and this
        _ => {}
    }
}
```

Issue #8311 is partially fixed by this commit. Fixed-length arrays in
let statement are not yet allowed:

```
let [a, b, c] = [1, 2, 3]; // still fails
```

0ac7a219f0 Updated std::Option, std::Either and std::Result 
- Made naming schemes consistent between Option, Result and Either
- Changed Options Add implementation to work like the maybe monad (return None if any of the inputs is None)
- Removed duplicate Option::get and renamed all related functions to use the term `unwrap` instead

887c656970 librustc: Introduce a new visitor type based on traits and port syntax to it. 
This is preparation for removing `@fn`.

This does *not* use default methods yet, because I don't know
whether they work. If they do, a forthcoming PR will use them.

This also changes the precedence of `as`.
