78c99ebfea Rename all ParseSess variables/fields/lifetimes as psess.
Existing names for values of this type are `sess`, `parse_sess`,
`parse_session`, and `ps`. `sess` is particularly annoying because
that's also used for `Session` values, which are often co-located, and
it can be difficult to know which type a value named `sess` refers to.
(That annoyance is the main motivation for this change.) `psess` is nice
and short, which is good for a name used this much.

The commit also renames some `parse_sess_created` values as
`psess_created`.

rename hide_parse_errors as show_parse_errors
Closes 3390

`hide_parse_errors` is now deprecated, and was renamed
`show_parse_errors` to avoid confusion around the double negative
default of `hide_parse_errors=false`.

1cb804b520 Add spacing information to delimiters.
This is an extension of the previous commit. It means the output of
something like this:
```
stringify!(let a: Vec<u32> = vec![];)
```
goes from this:
```
let a: Vec<u32> = vec![] ;
```
With this PR, it now produces this string:
```
let a: Vec<u32> = vec![];
```

This makes it clear they return token trees, and makes for a nice

1343ffd564 Split MacArgs in two.
`MacArgs` is an enum with three variants: `Empty`, `Delimited`, and `Eq`. It's
used in two ways:
- For representing attribute macro arguments (e.g. in `AttrItem`), where all
  three variants are used.
- For representing function-like macros (e.g. in `MacCall` and `MacroDef`),
  where only the `Delimited` variant is used.

In other words, `MacArgs` is used in two quite different places due to them
having partial overlap. I find this makes the code hard to read. It also leads
to various unreachable code paths, and allows invalid values (such as
accidentally using `MacArgs::Empty` in a `MacCall`).

This commit splits `MacArgs` in two:
- `DelimArgs` is a new struct just for the "delimited arguments" case. It is
  now used in `MacCall` and `MacroDef`.
- `AttrArgs` is a renaming of the old `MacArgs` enum for the attribute macro
  case. Its `Delimited` variant now contains a `DelimArgs`.

Various other related things are renamed as well.

These changes make the code clearer, avoids several unreachable paths, and
disallows the invalid values.

af72f7a17f Remove TreeAndSpacing.
A `TokenStream` contains a `Lrc<Vec<(TokenTree, Spacing)>>`. But this is
not quite right. `Spacing` makes sense for `TokenTree::Token`, but does
not make sense for `TokenTree::Delimited`, because a
`TokenTree::Delimited` cannot be joined with another `TokenTree`.

This commit fixes this problem, by adding `Spacing` to `TokenTree::Token`,
changing `TokenStream` to contain a `Lrc<Vec<TokenTree>>`, and removing the
`TreeAndSpacing` typedef.

The commit removes these two impls:
- `impl From<TokenTree> for TokenStream`
- `impl From<TokenTree> for TreeAndSpacing`

These were useful, but also resulted in code with many `.into()` calls
that was hard to read, particularly for anyone not highly familiar with
the relevant types. This commit makes some other changes to compensate:
- `TokenTree::token()` becomes `TokenTree::token_{alone,joint}()`.
- `TokenStream::token_{alone,joint}()` are added.
- `TokenStream::delimited` is added.

This results in things like this:
```rust
TokenTree::token(token::Semi, stmt.span).into()
```
changing to this:
```rust
TokenStream::token_alone(token::Semi, stmt.span)
```
This makes the type of the result, and its spacing, clearer.

These changes also simplifies `Cursor` and `CursorRef`, because they no longer
need to distinguish between `next` and `next_with_spacing`.

Encode spans relative to the enclosing item

The aim of this PR is to avoid recomputing queries when code is moved without modification.

MCP at https://github.com/rust-lang/compiler-team/issues/443

This is achieved by :
1. storing the HIR owner LocalDefId information inside the span;
2. encoding and decoding spans relative to the enclosing item in the incremental on-disk cache;
3. marking a dependency to the `source_span(LocalDefId)` query when we translate a span from the short (`Span`) representation to its explicit (`SpanData`) representation.

Since all client code uses `Span`, step 3 ensures that all manipulations
of span byte positions actually create the dependency edge between
the caller and the `source_span(LocalDefId)`.
This query return the actual absolute span of the parent item.
As a consequence, any source code motion that changes the absolute byte position of a node will either:
- modify the distance to the parent's beginning, so change the relative span's hash;
- dirty `source_span`, and trigger the incremental recomputation of all code that
  depends on the span's absolute byte position.

With this scheme, I believe the dependency tracking to be accurate.

For the moment, the spans are marked during lowering.
I'd rather do this during def-collection,
but the AST MutVisitor is not practical enough just yet.
The only difference is that we attach macro-expanded spans
to their expansion point instead of the macro itself.
